WELCOME TO H.O.P.E. 4 KIDS LIVING WITH DIABETES
Hope 4 Kids Living With Diabetes was formed by parents of Type 1 Diabetic children, family and community leaders; in order to support one another in the daily challenges associated in living with Type 1 Diabetes. We reach out to those who are newly diagnosed with practical assistance and guidance, educational classes, monthly support groups, social networking and special events that bring awareness.
Our Mission is to empower kids in Cameron County to be independent managers of their Diabetes by providing educational opportunities, activities and events that promote healthy living for these individuals so that they may avoid complications from Diabetes. H.O.P.E. will support efforts toward finding a CURE and support efforts to create awareness of Diabetes, its signs, symptoms and management. H.O.P.E will advocate for all children with Diabetes in Cameron County.
